The Georgia Bulldogs fell just short in their upset bid in a 68-65 loss to the Washington Huskies.
Trey Thompkins did all he could to keep Georgia in the game, scoring 26 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
However, the Bulldogs couldn’t seem to find a way to contain Isaiah Thomas, especially in the closing minutes.
While Georgia obviously wanted a tournament victory, it was a shock to most that they even made the field. (Read More…)

They may have lost twice to Alabama in a six-day span, including blowing a 14-point lead with seven minutes left in the Southeastern Conference quarterfinals.

The Georgia Bulldogs lost their most important game to date, a 65-57 decision to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
This game was essentially a matchup between two bubble teams and possibly eliminated one from NCAA contention.
Trey Thompkins lead the Bulldogs with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Three Georgia starters scored in double figures.
The Bulldogs shot the ball well and held their own on the boards, but turnovers really came back to bit them. (Read More…)
