Georgia can’t hold off Auburn, 49-31
The visiting Georgia Bulldogs came out of the gates strong but couldn’t hold on in a 49-31 loss to the No. 2 Auburn Tigers.
Georgia gave up the first score of the game but then put three unanswered touchdowns on the board to take a 21-7 lead after the first quarter.
Momentum started to shift in the second quarter after Auburn scored two touchdowns and Georgia was shut out to make it a tie game at halftime.
The second half was more of the same, and then Auburn took complete control in the fourth quarter to pull away for the not-so-easy victory. (Read More…)
